Job summary

Digitide in India seeks a Senior IT Asset Management professional to oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets across the organization, including procurement, tagging, allocation, tracking, audits, and disposal. You will work in large enterprise environments, preferably BFSI or enterprise support operations.

The role requires strong governance, asset inventory accuracy, and coordination with vendors. Proficiency with ITAM/CMDB tools like ServiceNow, SCCM, and ManageEngine is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• ITIL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• IT Asset Lifecycle Management: procurement, asset tagging, allocation, tracking, return, disposal.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets.
• Vendor & procurement coordination for procurement, warranty, AMC, and replacements.
• Compliance & audit support and audit-ready documentation.
• Tool management with ITAM/CMDB tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, SCCM, BMC Remedy, Excel trackers).
• Reporting & governance: MIS reports on asset utilization, stock availability, aging, movement, license compliance.
• Team coordination with IT support, procurement, finance, and facility teams.

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Asset Management professional who can manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets across the organization, including procurement, allocation, tracking, compliance, audit management, warranty/AMC monitoring, and disposal activities.

The candidate should have strong experience in handling enterprise IT assets in large environments, preferably within BFSI or enterprise support operations.

Responsibilities

IT Asset Lifecycle Management

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets including:
  • Procurement
  • Asset tagging
  • Allocation
  • Tracking
  • Return
  • Disposal
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets.

Asset Inventory & Tracking

• Track laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, storage, peripherals, and software licenses.
• Ensure proper asset allocation and stock availability across locations.
• Perform periodic physical verification and asset audits.

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty, AMC, and replacements.
• Maintain procurement records, invoices, and asset documentation.
• Track warranty expiry and AMC renewals.

Compliance & Audit

• Support internal and external IT audits.
• Ensure compliance with company IT asset policies and standards.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation at all times.

Tool Management

• Work on ITAM/CMDB tools such as:
  • ServiceNow
  • ManageEngine
  • SCCM
  • BMC Remedy
  • Excel-based asset trackers
• Generate reports and dashboards for management review.

Reporting & Governance

• Prepare MIS reports related to:
  • Asset utilization
  • Stock availability
  • Asset aging
  • Asset movement
  • License compliance
• Coordinate with finance and IT teams for reconciliation.

Team Coordination

• Coordinate with IT support, procurement, finance, and facility teams.
• Guide junior asset management resources where required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management processes.
• Experience handling enterprise IT infrastructure assets.
• Good understanding of software licensing and compliance.
• Strong reporting and documentation skills.
• Experience in ITAM/CMDB tools.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
