Job summary

Job Description:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and end-user issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT asset inventory records.
• Ensure proper asset ownership, accountability, and tracking throughout the complete asset lifecycle.
• Receive, verify, tag, label, and register new IT hardware and assets.
• Track asset allocation, movement, transfer, repair, replacement, return, and disposal.
• Maintain asset handover forms, acknowledgment records, and other relevant documentation.
• Manage hardware allocation during employee onboarding and asset recovery during employee offboarding.
• Maintain complete asset documentation and supporting evidence for onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Ensure returned assets are inspected, recorded, securely stored, repaired, or reallocated as required.
• Identify and report missing, damaged, unassigned, or unidentified IT assets.
• Coordinate with vendors for laptop and hardware repairs, replacements, warranty claims, and technical support.
• Arrange courier services for the dispatch and pickup of laptops and other IT hardware across different locations.
• Perform hardware installation, configuration, replacement, imaging, setup, and basic troubleshooting for laptops, monitors, docking stations, and other IT peripherals.
• Provide on-site, floor-walk, and remote IT support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in accordance with defined SLA requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, service requests, repairs, replacements, and asset movements.
• Conduct periodic asset verification and reconciliation to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.
• Ensure all asset-related activities are properly documented and maintained for audit compliance and periodic reviews.
