Job summary

Chembond Chemicals is seeking a Water Treatment professional to monitor and control water treatment parameters in Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, and Hot Water Systems. You will collect water samples, analyze results, and adjust chemical programs to maintain water quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include maintenance of dosing pumps and systems, PM program development, RCAs, and robust documentation using Excel, CMMS, and data logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and control water treatment parameters in Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, and Hot Water Systems to ensure optimal performance, water chemistry control, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage corrosion control, scale inhibition, microbiological control, conductivity, pH, TDS, and chemical dosing programs.
• Collect water samples and perform water analysis, laboratory testing, and quality monitoring.
• Analyze test results and adjust chemical treatment programs, including inhibitors, biocides, and dispersants, to maintain prescribed water quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with water treatment specifications, environmental regulations, and operational requirements.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, service, calibrate, and repair chemical dosing pumps, dosing systems, controllers, and monitoring equipment.
• Develop and implement a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program, reliability improvements, and equipment performance monitoring to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality test results, chemical consumption, maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and system performance data.
• Prepare technical reports, trend analyses, and compliance documentation using MS Excel, data logging systems, and CMMS platforms.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
• Adhere to HSE policies, safety procedures, risk assessments, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while handling chemicals and operating treatment systems.
• Support incident reporting, hazard identification, safety audits, and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.
