Job summary

Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a maintenance professional to supervise operation and maintenance of boiler, steam, chillers, cooling towers, air systems, and water treatment plants to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with cGMP.

You will coordinate with engineering, production, and external contractors, maintain records, implement preventive maintenance, minimize power use, and uphold safety practices while meeting defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, Good Engineering Practices (GEP), and all applicable statutory laws, rules, and regulations.
• Carry out operation and maintenance activities related to Boiler, Steam distribution system up to user point, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Air compressor, Air Dryer system, Water Treatment Plant and supporting utility systems.
• Monitor and maintain records of water consumption, steam generation, and distribution systems, and coordinate with internal engineering, production teams, and external contractors to ensure efficient and timely operations.
• Report critical operational issues to higher authorities and provide regular updates on corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure the development, implementation, and adherence to procedures related to the operation and maintenance of water systems.
• Ensure availability of critical spares and intimate concerned personnel well in advance to enable timely procurement.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain all cGMP documentation and related records as per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure minimization of power consumption without affecting production schedules, and work in close coordination with cross-functional departments for smooth operation of water systems.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities and record data in defined checklists, planners, and operation logbooks as per approved SOPs.
• Perform building maintenance activities and record data in defined checklists and planners as per approved SOPs.
• Ensure effective implementation and compliance of cGMP practices within the plant.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management as per job requirements.
• Maintain and promote safety practices during plant operation and maintenance activities.
• Complete all tasks assigned by the reporting manager within defined timelines.
