Job summary

Adani Group in Raipur seeks an experienced chemistry lab professional to supervise sampling, analyze coal/fuel quality, and ensure compliance with lab procedures and safety standards. The role involves managing lab operations, calibrating instruments, and preparing daily MIS reports for smooth plant functioning.

The candidate should have 13–18 years in chemical lab roles, with relevant post-graduate education and IMS or safety certifications preferred, contributing to waste water, water

Qualifications

• Total 13–18 years of experience in chemistry lab operations.
• Experience in quality assurance and lab management.
• IMS Certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring trouble free operation of Lab Equipment’s, Assurance of Fuel quality.
• Monitoring of Ash parameters as per given norms - Planning and maintaining Fine chemical inventory.
• Coordinate Sampling and analysis of Fuel/Coal.
• Coordinate with C & I for ensuring availability of SWAS system and smooth running of the CPU system.
• Calibration check of lab instruments.
• Daily MIS reports preparation and submission.
• Preparation and implementation of standard operating procedures for lab - SMS, Dept.
• Communication meeting, IMS, 5S - Implementation of the Chetna activity in the Chemistry.
• To be an element owner for the SMS System, authorise person for PTW system, review the HIRA as and when required.
• Implementation of the Safe operation practices and ensuring the Health & Safety of personal and equipment’s.
• Prepare a mitigation plan for hazardous process and conduct mock drill for the process.
• Conduct Health & Safety audit for the department and hazardous process and complying the observations.
• Complying the legal/statutory requirement pertain to chemistry department.

Purpose/Objective
