Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a maintenance professional to perform routine and non-scheduled maintenance of utility systems at the water plant, including purified water, WFI, steam, boilers, chillers and cooling towers. You will ensure all equipment stays qualified and ready for inspections, and coordinate with vendors for timely material supply and spares.

The role requires monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting, data integrity oversight for quality systems, and adherence to safety, cGMP,

Responsibilities

Routine monitoring/verification of equipment performance and taking corrective actions.
Troubleshooting and preventive action during breakdowns of utility equipment.
Ensure utility system data monitoring and review for data integrity and compliance.
Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely delivery of materials, chemicals, or utilities.
Liaise with equipment/spare vendors for maintenance schedules and spares requirements.
Update history cards of equipment as per activity.
Ensure work is performed with all safety aspects considered and guide the team accordingly.

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary: (Brief description about the job profile)

To perform the maintenance activities (scheduled & non-scheduled) of utility systems (Purified water systems, WFI System, Pure steam, Chillers, boilers. & Cooling towers, compressors)
To ensure the All-utility Equipment's are in qualified state & meeting the acceptance criteria as per requirement.
To keep the Utility are and Equipment's in all time readiness for local cGMP inspection.

Essential job functions: (Details of key job functions)

To perform the routine monitoring/verification of equipment performance & take necessary corrective action.
To perform troubleshooting and take preventive action in case of breakdown of utility equipment.
To ensure the utility system data monitoring, review is done effectively for data integrity & compliance
To liaise with purchase team and Vendors for timely delivery of Required material, chemical or any utility requirements.
To liaison with equipment/spare vendors for maintenance schedules, spares requirement.
To update the History cards of equipment's as per activity.
To ensure the work is performed with all safety aspects considered & guide the team accordingly.
In case of absence of HVAC /Process executive, the responsibility to be taken up for respective job role as intermittent support for function.
To manage the resource e g. spares, inventory to maintain the Utility system in good working condition.
To reduce the cost of fuel & power by optimizing the utility operations.
To ensure good Utility team building & team work for efficiency.
Prepare the utility operators shift schedule and ensure the man power availability to manage Keep any time Utility reediness for usage
To ensure the scheduled Utility Equipment's PM activities Completion without delay or deviation
To ensure the cGMP compliance of facility, machines & instrumentation.
Handling of QMS elements and application viz. Track wise/EDMS.
To liaison with external service providers for regular maintenance & improvement area.
To ensure the team is working in safe environment & staff is well informed about the occupational hazards.
