Job summary

MAX-HR-SOLUTIONS in India seeks a Sales Engineer to drive printer sales in a defined territory. You may operate from the branch or as a resident sales engineer, focusing on IB business and ensuring customer training on new features.

You will visit medium-sized accounts, track competitors, and aim for repeat orders while ensuring timely collections and after-sales support. Strong marketing and technical exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical/Electronic or MBA in Marketing.
• Experience in sales of printers or similar electronics.
• Willing to operate from a branch and resident location if required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the sales of printers in the assigned territory.
• Operate from the Branch Office or as Resident Sales Engineer.
• Focus on IB business for the respective sale area.
• Conduct trainings and seminars for customers on products and features.
• Regularly visit medium-sized customer accounts and manage relationships.
• Assess competitors and convert them to CPL accounts.
• Ensure repeat orders and timely payments per PO terms.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly sales reports to supervisors.
• Take ownership of resident locations for sales activities when required.
• Ensure territory coverage, route planning and optimal resource use.
• Meet sales targets on printers booked, sectors covered, and collections.
• Provide after-sales support and assist with installation.
• Keep product, market, and competitor knowledge up to date.

Role & responsibilities

• To drive the Sales of printers in a particular assigned territory.
• To operate out of the Branch Office or work as Resident Sales Engineer.
• Drive Sales for Area assigned and to focus on the IB business for respective sale.
• Ensure Training /Seminars for Customers on the existing as well as new products and any new features.
• Ensure regular visits to the medium size customer accounts.
• Working on competitors accounts and converting then to CPL account.
• Ensure repeat orders.
• Send Daily, weekly and monthly report to Branch Manager / Branch Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
• To operate out of a resident location, if required and take ownership of the resident location in terms of all sales activities.
• Payment Collection as per agreed PO Terms.
• Ensure territory coverage/scanning/visits.
• Ensure optimal utilization of existing resources and proper tour planning.
• Fulfil the assigned sales target in terms of the nos. of printers booked / the sectors covered /the target industries reached/ The territory coverage done/Price realization achieved / customer satisfaction level achieved/ timely collections of printer over dues.
• Ensure after sales support and help in installation process.
• Regulatory and Statutory Compliance up-dation to be done on regular basis.
• Update Product, Market and competitor knowledge from time to time.
