Job summary

Control Print (CPL) invites applications for an Area Sales Manager in Kolkata to lead printer sales across a defined territory. The role requires 2+ years of experience and a BE in Electrical/Electronic or a Diploma in any stream, with a 2-wheeler mandatory for field visits.

You will manage branch office activities, build relationships with medium and large customers, drive registrations, and ensure on-time collections while meeting sales targets and providing after-sales support.

Qualifications

• Kolkata-based territory awareness or willingness to operate in Kolkata region

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of printers in the assigned territory.
• Operate from the branch office or work as resident sales engineer.
• Drive sales for the area and IB business.
• Provide training/seminars to customers on existing and new products and features.
• Highlight new features to customers.
• Regularly visit medium and large customer accounts.
• Engage with competitors' accounts and convert to CPL.
• Ensure repeat orders.
• Send daily, weekly and monthly reports to Branch Manager/Branch Sales Manager/BDM.
• Operate from a resident location if required and take ownership of sales activities.
• Manage payment collection as per PO terms.
• Ensure territory coverage/scanning/visits.
• Optimize resource utilization and tour planning.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide after-sales support and assist in installation processes.
• Keep product, market and competitor knowledge up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• To drive the Sales of printers for Control Point in a particular assigned territory.
• To operate out of the Branch Office or work as resident Sales Engineer.
• Drive Sales for Area assigned and to focus on the IB business for respective sale.
• Ensure Training /Seminars for Customers on the existing as well as new products and any new
• features.
• Ensure regular visits to the medium & Large size customer account.
• Working on competitors accounts and converting then to CPL account.
• Ensure repeat orders.
• Send Daily, weekly and monthly report to Branch Manager/Branch Sales Manager/Business Development Manager
• To operate out of a resident location, if required and take ownership of the resident location in terms of all sales activities.
• Payment Collection as per agreed PO Terms .
• Ensure territory coverage/scanning/visits
• Ensure optimal utilization of existing resources and proper tour planning.
• Fulfil the assigned sales target in terms of the nos. of printers booked/the sectors covered /the target industries reached/ The territory coverage done/Price realisation achieved / customer satisfaction level achieved/ timely collections of printer over dues/ C form collection etc.
• Ensure after sales support and help in installation process
• Regulatory and Statutory Compliance updation to be done on regular basis
• Update Product, Market and competitor knowledge from time to time.
