Job summary

Legrand is seeking a high-performing professional for Specification activities in East. You will engage with MEP consultants, architects, EPC contractors, and end-users to promote switchgear products and support tender specifications.

Responsibilities include securing favorable vendor approvals, optimizing brand positioning in tenders, and driving business conversion in collaboration with Sales and BD teams. Strong relationship management and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of experience in specification, sales or business development.
• In-depth knowledge of switchgear devices and passive networking.
• Strong relationship management and technical presentation skills; ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Consultant & Specifier Connect: Regularly meet with MEP consultants, architects, EPC contractors, and end-users to promote the company’s switchgear products, technical capabilities, and safety devices.
• Specification & Approvals: Ensure maximum number of product brand positioning with techno commercially suitable specification and makelist written into the official tender specifications and vendor approvals.
• Business Conversion: Ensure business conversion of specified projects by working closely with sales and Business Development team.

Qualifications

Target Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Minimum B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: 6 to 12 years of experience (Specification, Sales, Business Development)

Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of switchgear devices /Passive networking

Soft Skills: High-level relationship management, technical presentation skills, Ownership Mindset
