Job summary

Amazon is seeking Area Managers for our Fulfillment Centers in Tamil Nadu. You will oversee safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity, manage shifts, forecast workloads, and ensure targets are met to support the daily objectives.

The ideal candidate brings 1+ years of employee management experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years Amazon experience), and hands-on experience with performance metrics and lean techniques. This role offers growth within ASSPL Tamil Nadu.

• Review the work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to produce during the day to meet the overall building objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor ensuring that you are operating a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all of your goals.
• Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
