Job summary

Dr Lal PathLabs seeks an experienced logistics professional to manage the end-to-end distribution and delivery operations. You will lead regional teams, optimize routes, and collaborate with Lab and Sales teams to ensure timely service and high CSAT scores.

You will monitor KPIs, document processes, and participate in improvements to logistics systems while maintaining cost awareness and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Record of distribution and logistics management and regional operation leadership.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• 4-8 years of experience in a similar logistics role.

Responsibilities

• Manage first mile pick-up across client locations and modify routes to meet daily demand.
• Oversee last mile delivery operations within intra-city and inter-city to meet designed TAT.
• Coordinate with Lab, Sales teams and other stakeholders for operation excellence and CSAT improvement.
• Maintain and analyze KPIs like ONTIME pick-up, Intercity TAT, product movement and other metrics.
• Participate in process development and automation system improvements.

Role & responsibilities

• Managing the First mile pick-up across client locations in accordance to the route & TAT defined. Exercise judgement to make modifications to daily routes to meet customer demands.
• Ensuring Last mile delivery operations (Intra-city & Inter-city) from origin lab to processing lab as per designed TAT & daily monitoring of the same.
• Co-ordination with various stakeholders (Lab team, Sales Team) for operation excellence support. Ability to work with peers and other functions for driving overall results.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, monitoring various operational KPIs such as ONTIME pick-up, Intercity TAT, product movement, other process.
• Involve and actively participate in various process development, performance improvement and inputs regarding automation system. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Maintain and analyze the financial expenses on the ongoing Logistics processes, budget monitoring and impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, manpower deployment, new area development and other operational areas.
• Vendor management, vendor evaluation, guidance to vendors, rate negotiations, contract management to improve supply chain efficiency, Teams productivity and sustainability.
• Active participation in various departmental internal/external audits related to QA, IT, Finance, other department.
• Addressing internal/external client complaints, contributing to improving CSAT score and support with regards to providing excellent customer service experience.
