Job summary

Kiya.ai in Chennai invites applications for an Application Support L1 role based in-office. The candidate will handle deployments, monitor systems, run log analysis, perform SQL queries, and provide first-line troubleshooting in a banking environment.

Two plus years of relevant experience in Internet Banking/Mobile Banking projects are preferred, with strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform application deployments and support release activities across environments.
• Participate in DC-DR drills and ensure readiness of systems during disaster recovery exercises.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure to ensure smooth operational performance.
• Perform log analysis to identify errors, performance issues, and system anomalies.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and environment-related issues at the first level.
• Use UNIX/Linux commands to analyze system behavior, logs, and process status.
• Execute and validate SQL queries for data verification, issue analysis, and reporting.
• Investigate incidents and provide initial root cause analysis before escalation.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and database teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain deployment, incident, and operational documentation for audit and tracking.
• Support routine maintenance activities, system health checks, and monitoring tasks.
• Ensure adherence to operational procedures, SLAs, and support processes.
• Coordinate with Client representatives.
