Job summary

AMS is seeking an Application Engineer Flats to drive product development and resolve customer application challenges across flat-steel segments. Location is Bangalore/Chennai with travel to customer sites as needed.

Candidate should have 12+ years of experience and BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering (Metallurgy preferred). This role focuses on HR, CR, GI/GL, Color-Coated and Wear-Resistant steels with a strong background in technical services, sales, or customer quality.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering (Metallurgy preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in applying engineering to flat steel products.
• Customer-facing with travel across regions.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development for flat steel products HR, CR, GI/GL, Color-Coated & Wear-Resistant steels.
• Resolve customer application challenges and provide technical solutions.
• Grow business across key flat-steel consuming segments and travel as required.
