Job summary

Iassess Consultants is seeking an Application Engineer (Grade: L1) in Ahmedabad to drive sales growth and provide expert technical support across target markets.

You will work closely with Territory Sales Manager to obtain product approvals with OEMs and institutions, deliver live demonstrations, and tailor adhesive solutions to customer needs, while maintaining strong client relationships and reporting regularly.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Engineer to drive ambitious sales growth and business development across assigned target markets. Reporting directly to the Territory Sales Manager, this role focuses on obtaining product approvals with institutions and OEMs, offering expert technical consultation, and building strong relationships with major manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive ambitious sales growth and execute business development strategies in designated markets.
• Secure product specification and formal approvals with OEMs and institutional clients.
• Develop deep expertise in adhesive product technologies, engineering principles, and application limits.
• Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at large manufacturing companies.
• Maintain a robust project pipeline to support long-term revenue targets. Visit prospective clients daily to analyze technical requirements and recommend optimal product solutions.
• Perform live product demonstrations, pre-sales technical consultations, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with internal Purchase, Accounts, and Management teams to align on procurement, billing, and strategic objectives.
• Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and timely submission of daily/weekly sales reports.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in application engineering, pre-sales, or technical support.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in pre-sales consultation, troubleshooting, and industrial/adhesive product applications.
• Key Traits: High accountability, adherence to timelines, and strong client-facing abilities.
