Job summary

Altraize in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5–7 years in Oil & Gas and OEM sales to extend technical support to sales and customers, manage projects, and analyze seal performance issues.

You will study engineering action requests, review drawings, propose seal solutions, and follow up with customers for approvals. You will support proto development and lead project tracking, with strong customer focus and CRM familiarity.

Qualifications

• Study EARs and customer drawings/technical specs.
• Seal selection and prepare proposal drawings for customers.
• Follow up on proposals for approval and feedback.
• Support proto development and seal installation.
• Investigate seal failures and prepare analyses with expert guidance.
• Understand customer technical training and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers with CSR as required and manage project activities.
• Maintain project reports and track drawings, quotes, and standards.
• Promote new seals in customer applications and markets.
• Engage in exhibitions or seminars to support sales initiatives.

Job description

Responsibility – To extend technical support to sales/customers for all kind of technical enquiries,
manage projects, handling seal failure analysis(performance issue). Has a large technical
understanding to respond to customers' requests to safeguard existing business.

Tasks and Responsibilities .

• To study the EAR(Engineering action request), customer drawing/technical specification,
• seal selection and make the proposal drawing for potential customers.
• Follow up on proposal with customer for approval etc
• During proto development, to support the seal installation.
• In case of any seal failure, to study & find out the possible reasons. Sending the failure analysis report taking guidance from experts.
• Understand Customer Technical training
• Visiting the customers along with CSR as & when required
• To handle the projects & maintaining the project report.
• To keep track of customer & supplier drawings, standards, quotes etc.
• Participate in promotional activities like exhibition, technical seminars etc.
• To promote new seals in our customer application.
• Process knowledge of Oil & Gas Segment

Education and Experience

BE in Mechanical Engineering

Exp in Oil & Gas, & OEM Sales with 5-7 Years

Strong work experience in application engineering & design with respective customers

• Familiar with CRM Software
• Strong Knowledge on Business Sales and Marketing Practices
• Knowledge in seals, Hydraulics and Pneumatics Systems Preferred
• Process knowledge of Oil & Gas segment.
• Knowledge on Rubber/Plastics products
• Excellent customer focus and understanding of total customer satisfaction
• Ability to lead and motivate customers
