Job summary

Harita Techserv in India seeks a valve design engineer focused on ball and plug valves. You will design API 609 butterfly valves, perform calculations, and prepare GA and detailed drawings along with BOMs.

You will ensure compliance with API 6D, API 609, ASME and ISO standards, support NPD and value engineering, and coordinate with manufacturing, quality, procurement and testing teams to meet timelines and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in Ball Valve / Plug Valve Design.
• Strong knowledge of Engineering Calculations & Design Validation.
• Experience in Pressure, Stress, Sealing & Torque Calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD & SolidWorks.
• Experience in GA & Detailed Drawing Preparation.
• Good knowledge of BOM and Valve Components.
• Understanding of Materials & Manufacturing Processes.
• Knowledge of International Valve Standards & Codes.

Responsibilities
