Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems in Hyderabad is seeking an Analog Mixed Signal Layout Engineer with 5-7 years of hands-on experience in block/module layouts using Cadence tools. Knowledge of TSMC 5nm or lower is required.

The role involves creating high-speed analog/digital layouts, debugging layout issues across verification flows, and owning blocks and macros. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years hands-on experience in independence block/module layouts with Cadence.
• Experience with TSMC 5nm or lower node.
• Strong layout verification experience with Cadence tools.
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell/Perl/Skill) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Custom layouts for high-speed analog/digital blocks (ring oscillators, dividers, bias blocks, pre-drivers) in TSMC 3nm and below.
• Independent debugging and resolution of layout fixes across verification flows.
• Own blocks and macros; coordinate with team for layout integrations.
• Run release flows and ensure milestones are met.
• Create and check relevant layout views using sign-off flows.

Top 3 mandatory (primary) skills: 5 to 7 yrs of hands‑on experience in independence block/module layouts with Cadence Layout design tools, exp in TSMC 5nm or lower node is must.

• Well versed with layout design and verification tools - Cadence Virtuoso EXL/GXL, Calibre etc. Custom layouts for High-Speed Custom Analog/Digital blocks, such as Ring Oscillators, Dividers, Bias Blocks (Voltage & Current references), pre-drivers etc. in TSMC 3nm and below.

Job Description : Responsibilities will include but not limited to following:

• Custom layouts for High-Speed Custom Analog/Digital blocks, such as Ring Oscillators, Dividers, Bias Blocks (Voltage & Current references), pre-drivers etc. in TSMC 3nm and below.
• Independent in debugging and resolving the layout fixes in various verification flows
• Flexible to take different tasks in project.
• Have accountability and ownership on blocks & bigger macros assigned.

Responsible for running release flows and take to closure on time, adhering the milestones, raise concerns well in advance for any foreseen issues

Communicate with the team on block level specs, to better integrate the top modules

Job Deliverables : Completed layout designs, with desired quality, with all specified verification flows clean

Create and check all relevant layout design views using sign-off tools and flows

Desired Experience : hands‑on experience in block/module layouts with Cadence Layout design tools, exp in TSMC 5nm or lower node is must

Well versed with layout design and verification tools - Cadence Virtuoso EXL/GXL, Calibre etc..

Exp in leading module/macro level layout, communicating with various team members to better co‑ordinate layout integrations

Knowledge of scripting (SHELL, PERL, SKILL), excel is good to have.
