Job summary

Sone India in Rajasthan, India seeks an Assistant Manager Production (LAN) to supervise the LAN assembly line and coordinate line schedules, manpower, and materials. You will ensure quality adherence and meet production targets for LAN products such as structured cabling, patch panels, and network accessories.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in LAN cable or structured cabling manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A standards and network components.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the LAN assembly line.
• Plan line schedules, manpower allocation, and material requirements with the Production Head.
• Monitor production output, quality compliance, and line efficiency for LAN products.
• Ensure LAN assembly activities comply with standards and customer specs.
• Coordinate with QA for in-process inspections and testing of LAN cables and components.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and equipment issues on the LAN line.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and daily MIS for LAN operations.
• Train LAN line supervisors and operators on processes, quality, and safety.
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) for LAN products.
• Coordinate with Stores for timely material availability on the production floor.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager Production (LAN) is responsible for supervising and coordinating all LAN cable and network component assembly production activities. The role ensures smooth line operations, quality adherence, and achievement of production targets for LAN products including structured cabling, patch panels, and network accessories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the LAN assembly line
• Plan line schedules, manpower allocation, and material requirements in coordination with the Production Head
• Monitor production output, quality compliance, and line efficiency for LAN products
• Ensure all LAN assembly activities comply with TIA/EIA standards and customer specifications
• Coordinate with QA for in-process inspections and testing of LAN cables and components
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and equipment issues on the LAN line
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and daily MIS for LAN line operations
• Train and guide LAN line supervisors and operators on processes, quality, and safety
• Participate in new product introduction (NPI) for LAN products
• Coordinate with Stores for timely material availability on the production floor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor''s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
• 4 to 7 years of experience in LAN cable or structured cabling manufacturing
• Knowledge of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A cable standards and network connectivity components
