Job summary

Konverge Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead onsite passive infrastructure for CCTV and networking projects in Mumbai. The role requires strong execution across cable trays, racks, and precision cabling while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will coordinate with civil, electrical, IT, security, and facilities teams, schedule manpower, and manage subcontractors to meet milestones. PMP/PRINCE2 credentials are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in CCTV, Networking or structured cabling projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute passive infrastructure work for CCTV and networking projects.
• Manage installation of cable trays, conduits, GI pipes, raceways, junction boxes, and mounting structures.
• Oversee laying, dressing, labeling, testing, and termination of CAT6/CAT6A, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, and power cables.
• Supervise installation of network racks, cabinets, patch panels, cable managers, PDUs, and passive components.
• Coordinate installation of CCTV cameras, mounting accessories, switches, APs, and related hardware.
• Conduct site surveys and validate BOQ, drawings, route plans, and installation methodology.
• Ensure compliance with HLD/LLD/SOW, client standards, and OEM guidelines.
• Plan manpower deployment and manage supervisors, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, IT, security, and facility teams for site readiness.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Ensure adherence to cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and quality procedures.

Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute passive infrastructure work for CCTV and networking projects.
• Manage installation of cable trays, conduits, GI pipes, raceways, junction boxes, and mounting structures.
• Oversee laying, dressing, labeling, testing, and termination of CAT6/CAT6A, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, and power cables.
• Supervise installation of network racks, cabinets, patch panels, cable managers, PDUs, and associated passive components.
• Coordinate installation of CCTV cameras, mounting accessories, network switches, wireless access points, and related hardware.
• Conduct site surveys and validate BOQ, drawings, route plans, and installation methodology.
• Ensure compliance with approved HLD, LLD, SOW, client standards, and OEM guidelines.
• Plan manpower deployment and manage supervisors, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, IT, security, and facility teams to ensure site readiness.
• Monitor project progress, identify execution risks, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Ensure adherence to structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA), installation best practices, and quality procedures
• . Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce EHS and safety compliance across all project sites.
• Verify measurements, certify completed work, and support vendor billing and project documentation.
• Coordinate material planning, inventory management, logistics, and timely availability of project materials.
• Attend client meetings, provide project status updates, and resolve onsite execution issues.
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Weekly Progress Reports (WPR), MOMs, snag lists, and project completion documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, client acceptance, and final project handover.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and structured cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in installation and termination of CAT6, CAT6A, Fiber Optic, Coaxial, and power cabling.
• Good understanding of LAN infrastructure, network racks, patch panels, and cable management systems.
• Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and industry best practices.
• Experience with cable tray, conduit, trunking, and GI pipe installation
• . Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings, HLDs, LLDs, BOQs, and project layouts.
• Familiarity with cable testing tools such as Fluke Cable Analyzer, OTDR, Fiber Power Meter, and cable certification equipment.
• Knowledge of EHS requirements and site safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
• OEM certifications in CCTV, Networking, or Structured Cabling are preferred.
