Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants.
• Ensure maximum plant availability, generation efficiency and achievement of PR/CUF targets.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor solar plant performance through SCADA and analyze generation losses.
• Handle maintenance of solar inverters, modules, transformers, HT/LT panels and switchyard equipment.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors and service providers for maintenance and warranty claims.
• Manage site manpower, contractors, material inventory and critical spares.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced and result-oriented Solar O&M professionals to manage and optimize the operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants across our project locations.

The ideal candidates should have strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical equipment, HT/LT systems, substations, SCADA monitoring, preventive and breakdown maintenance, and plant performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants.
2. Ensure maximum plant availability, generation efficiency and achievement of PR/CUF targets.
3. Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
4. Monitor solar plant performance through SCADA and analyze generation losses.
5. Handle maintenance of solar inverters, modules, transformers, HT/LT panels, RMUs, VCBs, ACBs and switchyard equipment.
6. Manage 33 kV / 66 kV / 132 kV substations and associated electrical infrastructure, as applicable.
7. Conduct breakdown analysis, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
8. Coordinate with OEMs, contractors and service providers for maintenance and equipment warranty claims.
9. Manage site manpower, contractors, material inventory and critical spares.
10. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, PTW, LOTO, JHA and statutory requirements.
11. Prepare daily, monthly and annual generation reports, maintenance reports and performance MIS.
12. Implement strategies for improving plant reliability, reducing downtime and optimizing O&M costs.

Required Technical Skills

• Solar Inverters Sungrow, Sineng, Huawei, SMA or equivalent.
• Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers and HT/LT Switchgear.
• 33 kV / 66 kV / 132 kV Substations.
• SCADA, SAS and Solar Plant Monitoring Systems.
• RMU, VCB, ACB, GIS, AIS and Protection Systems.
• Solar Tracker Systems NEXTracker, PVH or equivalent.
• Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and RCA.
• SAP PM / CMMS and MS Excel.
• Solar Plant Performance Analysis, PR and CUF Monitoring.

Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in Solar Power Plant O&M.

• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work at project locations.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates currently or previously working with Solar IPPs, Renewable Energy companies, Solar EPC companies and Solar O&M service providers will be preferred.
