Torrent Power Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage substation operations and lead the safety culture at the plant. The role requires hands-on O&M of solar facilities, data analysis of performance metrics, and coordination with cross-functional teams for commissioning and testing.

Ideal candidates will have 5–16 years in electrical engineering, strong knowledge of 33kV/11kV systems, PV installation and monitoring, and an electrical supervisory license for HV/MV work.

• Has 5–16 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of 33kV/11kV substation operation and solar O&M.
• Experience with PV installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations of substations (33kV/11kV).
• Lead safety culture at site and mitigate risks.
• Guide a team across plants and assets.
• Analyze solar plant performance data and drive improvements.
• Oversee day-to-day O&M for solar plants.
• Promote best practices and industry networking for plant improvements.
• Understand schedules with F&S mechanisms and ensure accuracy.
• Apply proactive maintenance and condition monitoring practices.
• Maintain knowledge of PTW/LOTO and EHS compliance.
• Liaise with government officials and local stakeholders.
• Oversee maintenance of transformers, inverters, SCADA, and switchyard equipment.
• Coordinate project execution, commissioning, and testing with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor system performance data and implement corrective actions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage daily operations of substations, including 33kV and 11kV systems.
• Lead the safety culture at site and must possess the know what the risk are associated with plant and how to mitigation them.
• Must have leadership skills to lead and guide a team of same and different plants.
• Must have strong data analytical skills to understand the solar plant performance metric/ KPI and improvements.
• Lead the Day-to-day O&M related works of Solar Power Plant.
• Strong networking in the industry to bring the best practices in O&M and implementation in the plant.
• Should be able to understand the F&S mechanism and ensure accuracy of the schedule.
• Should know proactive maintenance/Condition monitoring methodology and best practices.
• SAP – PM and MM modules awareness and hands on experience
• Hands on experience and knowledge of PTW/LOTO system & EHS compliances.
• Should be aware of ESG initiatives and should have good communication skills to connect with local stakeholders.
• Liaison with Govt. officials and local stakeholders.
• Prior knowledge in O&M and Trouble shooting of solar plant equipment’s like, Solar Tracker, transformer, HV/LV Panels, cables, string inverters, Switchyard equipment, OLTC, NIFPS, SCADA, Relays, and other electrical equipment of Solar Plant.
• Experience in JMR work and billing.
• Knowledge of excel, PPT, MS-Word and knowledge of preparing DGR, MMR, Ann Report.
• Having an electrical supervisory license for working on HV/MV equipment.
• Knowledge of Spare Management.
• Oversee maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of equipment such as transformers, inverters, and SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution, commissioning, and testing of solar PV plants.
• Monitor system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Job Requirements :

• 5-16 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of 33kV/11kV substation operation, Operation & maintenance of solar.
• Experience with solar power generation systems (PV) installation, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
• Bachelor/Diploma Electrical in regular.
