Job summary

The Eplane Company is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician to support ground flight testing of state-of-the-art eVTOL aircraft in our advanced facility. The role focuses on maintenance, inspection, installation, and testing of propulsion, avionics, wiring, and high-voltage systems.

You will work under experts, lead readiness activities for Ground Test Vehicles, perform system integration checks and documentation, and ensure safety and compliance with DGCA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: AME/ Diploma in Mechanical or Aeronautical engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3 Years relevant experience in aircraft / Helicopter/ UAV / eVTOL/ advanced aerospace systems maintenance.
• Knowledge on DGCA requirements is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of composite airframe structures, including carbon fiber laminates and sandwich panels.
• Install and maintain critical components like motors and propellers.
• Maintain documentation of structural findings and corrective actions.
• Handle high-voltage battery systems and electric propulsion interfaces maintenance.
• Maintain EWIS wiring, routing, bonding, grounding, clamping, and protection.
• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests with approved equipment.
• Install, inspect, and maintain avionics systems (flight control, navigation, comms, sensors).
• Conduct system integration checks, functional tests, and troubleshooting.
• Support software loading, configuration verification, and system validation.
• Lead maintenance and readiness activities for Ground Test Vehicles (GTVs) and prototype aircraft, including pre-test and post-test inspections.
• Assist in test setup, instrumentation connections, data cable management, and test-area readiness.

Job Summary

The Aircraft Manufacturing Engineer/ Technician will play a crucial role in the maintenance for ground flight testing of our Aircrafts within our state-of-the-art testing facility. We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated AMEs to join our ground testing team as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The AMEs will support the maintenance, inspection, installation, and testing of next-generation electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) composite aircraft. The role provides hands-on exposure to composite structures, electric propulsion systems, batteries, avionics, wiring, and ground test vehicle (GTV) operations, under the supervision of experts.
