PSA BDP is seeking a seasoned Export CHB leader in Mumbai to drive customs clearance, client relationships, and integrated logistics solutions for CHB customers. You will coordinate with sales, billing, and operations to ensure timely, compliant, and profitable service delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in logistics/forwarding operations, strong regulatory knowledge, and a professional logistics degree, with proficiency in MS Office and cross-functional collaboration.

• 10+ years of detailed experience in logistics and forwarding operations, regulations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Export CHB team and ensure timely completion of customs clearance activities with field representatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CHB customers to retain business and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales to offer competitive pricing while maintaining healthy margins and timely quotations to support growth.
• Promote integrated logistics solutions including freight forwarding, transportation, and value-added services.
• Participate in periodic review meetings with Sales and Key Account Management teams.
• Grow CHB revenue by expanding customer base and promoting value-added services.
• Guide customers on customs clearance processes and compliance, especially first-time exporters.
• Ensure timely billing by coordinating with the billing department and order completion.
• Maintain coordination with CFS facilities for cargo movement, clearance, and handling of exports.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable to resolve invoicing issues and support faster collections.
• Retain customers by providing timely operational support, advice, and proactive solutions.
• Conduct regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team skills in operations, compliance, and customer service.
• Encourage digital and IT upskilling within the team to improve productivity and service quality.

Job Description:

• Lead the Export CHB team and ensure timely completion of customs clearance activities in co-ordination with the field representatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing CHB customers to retain business and identify new opportunities.
• Work closely with the Sales team to offer competitive pricing while maintaining healthy profit margins and ensuring quotations sent within fixed timelines to support sales growth and improve conversion rates.
• Promote integrated logistics solutions to CHB customers by offering freight forwarding, transportation, and other value-added services.
• Participate is periodic review meetings of the customer with the Sales and Key Account Management teams
• Grow CHB revenue by expanding the customer base and promoting value-added services such as freight forwarding and transportation.
• Guide customers, on customs clearance processes and compliance requirements, especially first‑time exporters.
• Ensure timely billing by driving the team to submit completed jobs promptly to the billing department.
• Maintain strong coordination with CFS facilities to ensure timely cargo movement, customs clearance, and efficient handling of export shipments.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve invoicing issues, follow up on outstanding payments, and support faster collections.
• Retain customers by providing timely operational support, advice, and proactive solutions.
• Conduct regular training and knowledge‑sharing sessions to enhance team skills in operations, compliance, and customer service.

Job Requirements

Experience And Qualifications

• 10 plus years of detailed experience of logistics and forwarding operations/regulations and documentation
• Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.
