Job summary

PSA BDP in Mumbai is seeking a detail-oriented freight forwarding operations assistant to update data in Meridian and prepare documents, ensuring SOP compliance.

You will handle BL/HBL drafts, print BL after approval, maintain files, and coordinate with Accounts and Vendors through Meridian, following SOPs across the workflow.

Qualifications

• 2 years of demonstrated experience of Freight forwarding and Logistics operations.
• Any Graduate.
• High standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant transport management applications.

Responsibilities

• Update data in Meridian and prepare documents as required by operations.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating processes and Customer SOPs.
• On receipt of Job file, update all fields in Meridian.
• Prepare draft copy of HBL/FCR and Debit Note after customs clearance.
• On BL approval, print the BL and maintain all job documents.
• Enter vendors debit note details in Meridian and handover to Accounts.
• Upload documents in Meridian following SOPs.
• Follow special instructions per SOP.

• Responsible for updating data in Meridian & Preparation of Documents.
