Role & responsibilities

An Agency FLS (Front Line Sales) role in the insurance and financial services industry is a field-based position responsible for driving business growth by recruiting, training, and managing a network of Financial Advisors (FAs), Insurance Managers (IMs), or agents

Core Responsibilities

• Advisor Recruitment & Onboarding: Scout, interview, and onboard new insurance agents or financial advisors according to assigned manpower targets.
• Sales Target Achievement: Drive business generation, premium collections, cross-selling, and renewal targets through your team of advisors.
• Training & Coaching: Educate advisors on life or health insurance products, pitch techniques, customer handling, and regulatory guidelines.
• Advisor Activation & Productivity: Motivate new and existing agents, conduct joint field calls, track performance via MIS (Management Information System) reports, and support underperformers.
• Compliance & Servicing: Ensure all agents comply with IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) regulations, ethical sales practices, KYC guidelines, and assist with policy issuance and claims support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate in any stream (Commerce, Business, or Finance preferred)
• Experience: Generally ranges from 6 months to 5 years of experience in sales, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), or agency channel sales. Freshers with strong communication skills are occasionally hired for entry-level FLS designations
