Qualifications

• 4-6 years hands-on SEO with proven traffic recovery/growth for B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
• Deep technical SEO including audits, indexation diagnostics, schema, Core Web Vitals, migrations.
• Experience with AEO/GEO, featured snippets, AI Overviews, and llms.txt.
• Fluency with Ahrefs and Google Search Console; comfortable with crawlers and GA4.

Responsibilities

• Technical SEO & site health crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, redirects, canonicalization, XML sitemaps.
• Migration & recovery execution and assurance of blog migration (301 mapping, monitoring).
• AEO structure pages for featured snippets and AI Overviews: answer-first formatting, schema markup, and llms.txt.
• GEO - grow Knowmax's citations and mentions across AI resources; track AI share-of-voice vs competitors.
• Off-site & authority – link-building and backlink strategy; drive listicle inclusion and visibility on LLMed threads.
• Keyword & SERP strategy – own research and intent mapping; fix gaps.
• Measurement – weekly indexing + AI-visibility dashboard; monitor algorithm changes and report to leadership.
• Cross-functional delivery – partner with engineering/IT on technical fixes and with content on optimization standards.

• Migration & recovery execute and assure the blog's subdomain-to-subdirectory migration (301 mapping, monitoring)
• AEO structure pages to win featured snippets and AI Overviews: answer-first formatting, FAQ/HowTo/Article/Product schema markup, and `/llms.txt`.
• GEO — grow Knowmax's citations and mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and more; track AI share-of-voice vs competitors
• Off-site & authority — Link-exchange and backlink building, drive listicle inclusion (“best knowledge base / AI call-center software”), and support Reddit/Quora visibility on LLM-indexed threads.
• Keyword & SERP strategy — own keyword research and intent mapping; fix gaps
• Measurement — stand up and run a weekly indexing + AI-visibility dashboard; monitor algorithm changes and adapt fast; report organic and AI-referred pipeline to leadership.
• Cross-functional delivery — partner with engineering/IT on technical fixes and with content on optimization standards.

Preferred candidate profile

4-6 years of hands‑on SEO with a track record of recovering or growing organic traffic — preferably for B2B SaaS or enterprise software (longer cycles, not consumer/e-commerce).

• Deep technical SEO: site audits, indexation/crawl diagnostics, schema, Core Web Vitals, migrations.
• Demonstrable AEO/GEO experience or strong, current understanding — featured snippets, AI Overviews, getting cited by LLMs, `llms.txt`, structured data.
• Fluency in Ahrefs and Google Search Console; comfort with crawlers (Screaming Frog/Sitebulb) and GA4.
• Analytical and self-directed — can prioritise a 20-fix backlog by business impact and execute without hand-holding.
