Job summary

Sj Recruiters Lens is seeking an energetic academic counsellor to engage with students via calls, WhatsApp, and email. You will understand education goals and budgets to propose suitable courses, and drive admissions and revenue targets through proactive follow-ups.

Collaborating with marketing, academics, and operations, you will help ensure smooth onboarding and stay informed about education trends. Strong communication and CRM familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 0-2 years in academic counselling, inside sales, EdTech, or education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Convincing, objection-handling, and closing abilities.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students via calls, WhatsApp, and email; convert leads into admissions.
• Understand student goals and budgets to recommend suitable courses.
• Meet monthly admission and revenue targets.
• Update and manage student data in CRM systems (NPF, LSQ).
• Regularly follow up with leads to improve conversions.
• Coordinate with marketing, academics, and operations for onboarding.

• Update and manage student details, follow-ups, and communication in CRM tools like NPF and LSQ.
• Follow up with leads regularly to improve conversions.
• Coordinate with marketing, academic, and operations teams for smooth onboarding.
• Stay updated on education trends and competitor offerings.

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree; Masters preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in academic counselling, inside sales, EdTech, or education.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong convincing, objection-handling, and closing skills.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office.

Preferred Skills

• Good command of Marathi, Hindi and English; regional languages are a plus.
