Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Chennai to manage cash application, reconciliations, and customer payment processes. The role requires experience in AR and O2C with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, and involves collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

The candidate will ensure daily SLAs are met, resolve discrepancies, and generate client reports on a weekly and monthly basis, following SOPs and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 and O2C processes is required.
• Strong reconciliation, cash application, and dispute resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming customer payments (lockbox, ACH, card, manual payments) and apply cash to AR in ERP.
• Reconcile unapplied cash, short payments, and bank statements; minimize discrepancies.
• Prepare client reports (weekly, monthly) and ensure SOPs are updated timely.
• Research and resolve discrepancies; handle onshore and offshore team queries.
• Perform cash analysis and credit analysis to resolve disputes and accounts.

Role & responsibilities

• Processes Incoming Customer Payments Lockbox ACH Credit Card payments Manual payments apply Cash accurately to AR in ERP to maintain daily SLAs
• Reconcile minimize Unapplied Cash Short payments
• Reconciliation of recorded payments with ERP Bank Statement
• Research and Resolving discrepancies
• Query resolution - Handling onshore and offshore team queries
• Resolving Dispute Issue accounts of internal Cash Credit Analysis team
• Preparation of clients reports (Weekly, Monthly) Ensuring the SOPs are updated timely
