Job summary

MyBookees is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our remote team. You will manage billing, collections, and reconciliation to support healthy cash flow for clients.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting or a related field, 3+ years AR experience, proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero/SAP and Excel, and strong communication skills.

This fully remote role focuses on timely invoicing, accurate payment application, and exceptional client service across a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and collections processes.
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to professionally handle sensitive client issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate aged receivable reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Analyze trends in accounts receivable and provide insights to improve cash flow.
• Assist with month-end closing and audits.
