Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking an Academic Counsellor to manage walk-in and online inquiries, guiding students and parents through admissions processes.

The role involves counselling inquiries, following leads, and meeting admission targets while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth enrollment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in student counselling or admissions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in face-to-face counselling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel walk-in students and parents at the center regarding courses, programs, and career paths.
• Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship building.
• Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups and cold calling.
• Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure.
• Update and manage lead data in CRM systems.
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes.

Working Days: 6 days a week (Sunday working, 1 weekday off)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Academic Counsellor who will manage both walk-in (offline) and online student inquiries. The role involves counselling students and parents visiting the center, as well as handling leads via calls and other channels to drive admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel walk-in students and parents at the center regarding courses, programs, and career paths
• Convert walk-in inquiries into admissions through effective counselling and relationship building
• Handle online leads through calls, follow-ups, and cold calling
• Guide prospective students and address their queries to drive conversions
• Maintain regular follow-ups with leads to ensure closure
• Update and manage lead data in CRM systems
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly admission targets
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth admission processes

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in student counselling/admissions or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in face-to-face counselling is highly preferred
• Comfortable with cold calling and handling online leads
• Target-oriented with a strong ability to convert leads
• Knowledge of CRM tools is an added advantage
