Academic and Research Advisor – Reproductive Health

Qualification: Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Life Sciences

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized candidate who is interested in working in an institute setting, and who is articulate in both verbal and written communication. This individual will play a critical role in supporting fellow/student academic success, research endeavors, and personal development. The role involves providing comprehensive academic advising, research administration, coordination, and support to andrologists, clinical fellows, embryologists, fertility specialists, interns, research fellows, sonologists, students, and working professionals through course or program selection, academic and research planning, research execution, and career exploration.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in course/program selection (offline, hybrid, and online) through tele sales and registration, ensuring they meet course/program requirements within set batch timelines.
• Provide individualized academic advising to fellows/students, helping them develop and achieve their academic and publication goals.
• Actively participate in the academic and publication planning, publication data collection, coordination, oral/written communication, and execution of onboarding, conduct of classes, workshops, original research publications, and other events to support student success across assigned work streams.
• Refer fellows/students to appropriate departmental resources (e.g., tutoring, counseling, regulations guidance services) as necessary.
• Assist in admissions through documentation, onboarding, planning, organizing academic events, course/program delivery coordination of the curriculum, smooth conduct of the physical/virtual classes, workshops, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of fellow/student interactions and advising sessions in the customer relationship management tools and other office records.
• Offer guidance on academic policies, procedures, and resources available within the institute.
• Stay current with trends and best practices in academic advising and professional education.
• Complete and document mandatory trainings within specified timelines.
• Prepare reports on advising activities, fellows/student progress, and course/program outcomes.
• Maintain and update records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Chemistry, Clinical Research, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Zoology, or other life science disciplines.
• Willing to commit to a work schedule that includes Monday through Saturday (6 days a week).
• Good listening skills to understand fellow/student needs and concerns, and ability to explain responses clearly.
• Knowing how to ask the right questions to understand customer needs.
• Enthusiasm and a positive outlook to keep the conversation engaging.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A strong desire to be part of a collaborative and learning team.
