Job summary

Stantec in Ireland is seeking an Engineer to join our Water team and tackle challenging drinking water projects across the country. You will work with experienced engineers to develop treatment processes, support design through to commissioning, and help deliver safe, reliable water supplies for communities.

You will engage with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, apply water chemistry and process engineering know-how, and grow professionally in a collaborative, supportive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in drinking water treatment, water infrastructure or related water sector projects.
• Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies, water quality objectives and industry best practice.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
• A passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
• Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
• Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to individual water sources.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
