Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Water Process Engineer to help Ireland address drinking water challenges.

You'll work within our Water team to develop treatment processes and infrastructure, improving water quality, resilience and operational performance across communities. You'll engage with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, undertake calculations, specify technologies, and contribute from feasibility through commissioning, delivering sustainable, safe

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
Experience in drinking water treatment or related water sector projects.
Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies and water quality objectives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders.
Passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to individual water sources.
Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
