Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Process Engineer in Ireland to tackle some of the country’s most important drinking water challenges. You will work with engineers and specialists to develop treatment processes and infrastructure that deliver safe, reliable drinking water to communities.

The role involves helping with feasibility, design, construction and commissioning across projects nationwide. You’ll join a supportive team, grow technical expertise, and have opportunities to contribute to water

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
Experience in drinking water treatment, water infrastructure or related water sector projects.
Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies, water quality objectives and industry best practice.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
A passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to individual water sources.
Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
