Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Ireland is seeking a Water Process Engineer to tackle challenging drinking water issues, enhance water quality, resilience and supply security across the country.

You’ll lead and support projects from feasibility to detailed design, work with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and help deliver practical, sustainable treatment solutions that protect public health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in drinking water treatment, water infrastructure or related water sector projects.
• Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies, water quality objectives and industry best practice.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
• A passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
• Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
• Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to individual water sources.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
