Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Ireland is seeking an Engineer to join our Water team, tackling challenging drinking water problems and delivering safer, more reliable supplies for communities across the country.

You will work with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams through feasibility, design, construction and commissioning, applying water chemistry, process engineering and sustainable solutions to real-world water supply challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in drinking water treatment, water infrastructure or related projects.
• Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies and water quality objectives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder engagement.
• Passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
• Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
• Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to water sources.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
