Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Ireland invites an engineer to tackle pressing drinking water challenges, developing treatment processes and infrastructure to deliver safe, reliable water to communities.

You will join a supportive team across Ireland, contribute from feasibility to commissioning, and grow your technical and leadership skills while safeguarding public health and the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership.
• Experience in drinking water treatment, water infrastructure or related water sector projects.
• Knowledge of drinking water treatment technologies, water quality objectives and industry best practice.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders.
• A passion for sustainable water solutions and protecting Ireland's water resources.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and review process calculations, treatment performance assessments and optimisation studies.
• Support the selection and specification of drinking water treatment technologies.
• Develop practical and sustainable treatment solutions tailored to individual water sources.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction and commissioning.
