Job summary

BNY seeks a Senior Vice President to lead the EMEA Alternatives Private Markets team in Dublin, Ireland. The role focuses on strategic client advisory, onboarding, transformation programs, and governance across operations and technology.

You’ll drive AI adoption, manage risk, and coordinate with senior leaders to shape the strategic vision while developing high-performing, distributed teams within a robust control environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (finance, accounting, or business preferred).
• TA, fund administration, or investor services experience; Private Equity, Credit, and Real Estate experience preferred.
• People leadership experience in operations.
• Strong experience with TA platforms and workflow tools; SLA/KPI management, controls, and audit readiness.
• Experience linking data, AI, and service outcomes to drive client value.
• Experience in process improvement and change/UAT delivery; familiarity with technology and automation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills; commitment to an inclusive culture.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills across AML, Tax, Client Service, and Technology.
• Operational rigor and a strong control mindset.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making; strong technology aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Lead complex client onboarding, transformation, and transition programmes.
• Champion AI and digital solutions across client service and operations.
• Act as escalation point for strategic client matters and drive resolution.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape and execute the strategic vision for EMEA Alternatives Investor Services.
• Foster innovation through AI, automation, and data-driven operating models.
• Provide leadership for new business opportunities and client mandates at scale.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop geographically distributed teams.
• Maintain robust control frameworks and risk management practices.
