Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President to join its European Institutional Lending team in Dublin, focusing on Financial Institutions’ sector in the EU. You will monitor portfolios, coordinate with risk management, and present detailed credit proposals to committees while supporting lending transactions through all lifecycle stages.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree (CFA/ACCA/FRM a plus) and several years of experience in institutional lending, with strong credit and risk analysis capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• CFA/ACCA/FRM qualifications are a plus for the role.
• Several years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in institutional and corporate lending, knowledge of lending products and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing credit portfolios and perform portfolio reviews.
• Coordinate with Credit Risk Management on underwriting proposals and reviews.
• Prepare detailed credit proposals with protections and present to committees.
• Support lending transactions through their lifecycle from structuring to portfolio monitoring.
