Job summary

The K Club is seeking a friendly Host to join The Palmer Restaurant team. You will welcome guests, escort to tables and help ensure high standards of service in a five-star resort setting.

Ideal candidates have prior hospitality experience, excellent English communication, and a team-first attitude. Availability for evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities for training and career progression within our renowned resort.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospitality setting is required.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• You are a confident team player with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort to tables and assist in seating to hotel standards.
• Create memorable experiences for guests from arrival to departure.
• Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and maintain cleanliness.
• Take reservations and manage the reservations system.
• Monitor guest needs and support all phases of restaurant operations.
• Control flow of bookings and allocate tables per guest requests.
• Assist with additional duties as required.

Here’s how you’ll bring our trailblazing vision to life:

• To greet and escort guests to tables and assist in seating ensuring hotel standards of service
• To be passionate about and involved in creating a memorable experience for our guests
• Assist in preparing the restaurant for service and always maintaining the cleanliness of the Restaurant
• Take reservations and maintain reservation system
• Assist in monitoring the guests needs and all phases of the operation
• Control the flow of the bookings and table allocation
• Allocate tables to ensure guests requests are met
• To assist with other duties as required
