Job summary

A premier leisure destination in County Dublin seeks a skilled professional to support Food & Beverage operations. This role involves supervising food service, managing events, and controlling costs. Ideal candidates will have a background in hospitality, demonstrate strong customer service skills, and exhibit attention to detail. Responsibilities

  • Support the Heads of Department in Food & Beverage operations.
  • Supervise food service in function rooms ensuring standards are maintained.
  • Control all costs in F&B in the Clubhouse and Events department.
  • Liaise with group organizers and sales for queries before events.
  • Organise equipment from stores, laundry, florist and outside hires while keeping costs down.
  • Supervise F&B service in function rooms and maintain standards.
  • Assist with events during quiet periods as requested by the Director of F&B.
  • Control costs and monitor payroll revenue in F&B and C&B departments.
  • Manage training needs and maintain training manuals with supervising staff.
  • Oversee storage/maintenance of equipment and propose procurement to improve guest experience.
  • Maintain Time and Attendance system and report to HR; collaborate with cost controller on stock-takes.

  • Address guest queries or complaints and take remedial action for satisfactory outcomes.

This is how we see you:

  • This role will support the Heads of Department across the Clubhouse F&B & Conference & Banqueting Teams
  • To ensure the smooth running of the all other food service throughout the Clubhouses and C&B through the supervision and delegation of duties including private dining, drawing room and room service and all events throughout the resort
  • To assist in the co-ordination and organisation of all events in the function rooms in line with the function sheets and guest requirements.
  • To liase with group organisers during their events and ensure all changes are passed to the relevant departments.
  • To assist in following up with the sales team or the guest with regard to any queries prior to the event.
  • To organise all the necessary equipment for the event from stores, laundry, florist and any outside hire company required, ensuring costs are kept to a minimum.
  • To supervise the food & beverage service in the function rooms, ensuring standards are maintained.
  • To assist with any events on the Resort, during quiet periods, at the request of the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • To control all costs in F&B in the Clubhouse F&B and Events department
  • To control and monitor payroll V revenue in F&B in the Clubhouse F&B and C&B departments
  • To manage the Food & Beverage teams (Clubhouse F&B and C&B teams) with regard to all aspects of food service to ensure the agreed standards of presentation and service are maintained
  • To identify training needs, write and maintain effective training manuals with the other supervising staff members and to ensure their implementation with new and existing staff
  • To manage storage/ maintenance of equipment and in turn, propose procurement of equipment which will promote efficiency or drive improvementson guest experience
  • To maintain the Time and Attendance system (ALKIMII) and ensure all reports are completed and sent to the HR department as required
  • To work closely with the cost controller on stock-takes
  • To add value through passion, creativity, knowledge and fortitude using our company “pillars” Trailblazer, Spirited, Crave & Together
  • To follow up on any queries, comments or complaints from members or guests taking the appropriate remedial action to ensure a satisfactory outcome
