Job summary

The K Club in Dublin is seeking an Accommodation Manager to lead the housekeeping and accommodation teams, ensuring rooms, private properties and clubhouses meet the highest standards. You will oversee duties, inspect rooms daily, manage purchasing, and train new staff while maintaining strict health and safety standards.

This role offers opportunities for development, a monthly service charge, and access to internal and external training programmes within a prestigious 5* resort setting.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Accommodation Manager.
  • Experience within a 5* environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Accommodation Teams to ensure that all rooms, private properties, public areas and clubhouses receive service to the agreed standard.
  • Allocate and oversee the duties of the Accommodation team to ensure that all rooms, apartments and public areas are serviced to the agreed standard.
  • Inspect all serviced rooms daily to ensure the agreed standard is being upheld.
  • Work with and develop excellent relationships with all relevant departments to ensure the efficient running of the department.
  • Assist with purchasing and re-ordering of housekeeping supplies and inventory.
  • Assist with training of all new team members to the required standard.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, health & safety and conduct.
  • Ensure all guest requests are fulfilled in an efficient manner.
  • Report all maintenance issues promptly to the maintenance department and follow up to ensure they are rectified to the appropriate standard.
  • To update the Time & Attendance system for the Accommodation department when required.
  • To monitor the daily tasks within the department with regard to key control and lost property procedures.
  • To promote a positive working atmosphere at all times.
  • To participate fully in training provided by the company.

Experience/ Qualifications
