Temporary Executive Assistant / Senior Administrator

Spencer Recruitment is partnering with a leading sporting organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant / Senior Administrator for an immediate-start temporary position.

This is a busy and varied role supporting senior leadership while helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. It would suit a highly organised, efficient and dependable administrator who is comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate must be available to begin immediately or at very short notice.

The Role

You will provide high-level administrative and organisational support to senior members of the organisation. You will manage schedules, coordinate meetings, prepare documents and act as a reliable point of contact for colleagues and external stakeholders.

Alongside executive support, you will assist with general office coordination, events and other administrative projects as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional administrative support to senior leadership.
  • Manage busy diaries, meetings, appointments and schedules.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including rooms, materials and catering.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents.
  • Organise travel arrangements and prepare itineraries when required.
  • Monitor emails, follow up on actions and help senior colleagues manage priorities.
  • Liaise professionally with staff, suppliers and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support office administration, supplies and general day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with events, logistics and ad hoc administrative projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are followed up.
  • Identify practical ways to improve administrative processes and efficiency.
About You
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator, Office Coordinator or similar.
  • Highly organised, efficient and capable of managing several priorities at once.
  • Confident supporting senior leaders and communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, dependable and comfortable working independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a professional approach.
  • Able to remain calm and organised in a busy working environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Experience working in a sporting, membership, events or fast-paced organisation would be advantageous.
  • Available to start immediately or at very short notice.
