Job summary

Unipharmedtech is seeking a Surgical Area Manager to drive sales of surgical products across hospitals in the Midlands and West of Ireland. You will present, demonstrate and secure orders while building lasting partnerships with key customers and stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in clinical or commercial sales within Healthcare or FMCG, with medical device knowledge preferred and comfort in operating theatres.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in clinical sales and/or commercial sales within Healthcare or FMCG.
• Medical device sales desirable but not essential.
• Clinical background would be an advantage.
• Be comfortable working in operating theatres.
• Be target driven and able to close sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with strong customer relationships.
• Proficiency with general business tools and applications.
• Full driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Present, demonstrate and secure orders. Build lasting relationships with key customers.
• Develop business opportunities and market potential in the Midlands and West.
• Plan and execute area sales strategies and meet quarterly/annual targets.
• Provide feedback on customers, promotions and market changes to improve product performance.
• Attend conferences and meetings as required.
