Top Oil is recruiting a Store Manager for our Mullingar, Co. Westmeath store. You will lead the service operation, motivate staff and deliver best-in-class customer service while achieving store targets.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance with HSE rules, and a proactive, team-driven culture. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in retail management, proven leadership and KPI performance, and hands-on experience with stock, financials and reporting, plus strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in dynamic retail management.
• Proven ability to manage people and communicate effectively.
• Track record of hitting KPIs/targets.
• Hands-on stock management, financial management and reporting systems experience.
• Strong ability to read and act on reports.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the stores.
• Collaborate with Regional Store Manager to set and achieve sales targets on gross profit margin, net margin, and KPIs.
• Induct and train new employees to high standards.
• Ensure security and health and safety standards are upheld; provide a safe store environment.
• Encourage upselling and train staff to identify opportunities.
• Stock control management and procedures aligned with company standards.
• Manage rostering and annual leave while adhering to GDPR records.
• Ensure merchandising and presentation meet store guidelines and social distancing rules.
• Engage with new initiatives and lead by example.
