Job summary

Top Oil is seeking a Store Manager for our Mullingar, Co. Westmeath store to lead daily operations and drive customer service excellence. You will manage staff, stock, rosters and store standards while upholding health, safety and GDPR requirements.

You will work with the Regional Store Manager to hit sales targets, monitor KPIs and promote a safe, welcoming shopping environment for all customers.

Qualifications

• Ideally a minimum of 2-3 years` experience in a dynamic retail management position.
• Proven skills managing people and communicating effectively
• A proven track record of hitting KPIs / targets.
• Hands on exposure to stock management, financial management & reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• To oversee and ensure the smooth running of the stores.
• Collaborate with Regional Store Manager to set, monitor and achieve sales targets on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and KPIs.
• Induct and train new employees to high standards per policies and best practices.
• Ensure security and health and safety standards, providing a safe store environment.
• Encourage staff to upsell promotions and train them to identify opportunities to upsell.
• Manage stock control processes in line with company standards.
• Administer rostering and annual leave with GDPR-compliant records.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising and store presentation per planograms and social distancing guidelines.
• Engage with new initiatives and adopt new ways of working with a positive, lead-by-example attitude.
