Job summary

Top Oil is recruiting a Store Manager for our Mullingar, Co. Westmeath store. You will lead daily operations, drive sales targets, motivate the team and ensure best-in-class store experience with fresh food and customer service.

You will oversee stock, rosters and GDPR-compliant records, promote a safety-first culture, and work with regional leadership to achieve KPIs in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail management with 2–3 years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in a dynamic retail management position.
• Proven skills managing people and communicating effectively.
• Proven track record of hitting KPIs/targets.
• Hands on exposure to stock management, financial management & reporting systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the stores.
• Collaborate with Regional Store Manager to set, monitor and achieve sales targets on gross and net margins, waste and KPIs.
• Induct and train new employees to the highest standards.
• Ensure security and health and safety standards, providing a safe store environment.
• Encourage staff to upsell and train on opportunities to upsell.
• Manage stock control and related processes according to company standards.
• Handle rostering and annual leave while maintaining GDPR records.
• Ensure merchandising and presentation meet store planograms and guidelines.
• Engage with new initiatives and lead by example with a positive can-do attitude.
