Job summary

BoyleSports in Salthill, County Galway, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our Retail team. You will help deliver an outstanding customer experience, assist the Shop Manager, handle bets, cash transactions and contribute to smooth daily store operations with high presentation standards.

The role requires a friendly, proactive communicator with numeracy skills, flexibility to work seven days a week, and a keen interest in sport and betting. Full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager with day-to-day running of the shop.
• Open and close the shop and manage cash procedures.
• Guide shop operations in the manager's absence.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards throughout the day.
• Accept bets accurately through terminals and in-store transactions.
• Act as Brand Ambassador and promote the digital journey.
• Work under pressure and seek ways to improve the shop.
• Provide outstanding customer experience through friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Ensure safety, compliance and shop procedures are followed.
• Be a supportive team player in a busy retail environment.
