Job summary

BoyleSports in Tallaght is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to support the Shop Manager and team in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will handle bets, assist in daily operations, and help drive the store’s success in a fast-paced retail setting.

This role requires flexibility across 7 days, strong numeracy, and excellent communication to build rapport with customers while promoting BoyleSports’ multi-channel services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day to day running of the shop.
• Step up and guide shop operations when the Shop/Assistant Manager are absent, including opening and closing the shop
• Manage and guide the shop team and cash handling procedures
• Opportunity to take on occasional management responsibility for development
• Provide outstanding customer experience through helpful, friendly and knowledgeable service
• Accept bets accurately through multiple channels including terminals and EPOS
• Act as Brand Ambassador introducing customers to multi-channel/digital journey
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and ensure safety/compliance procedures are followed
