Job summary

BoyleSports is seeking a Customer Service Assistant in Athy to join our Retail team. You will support the Shop Manager, open/close the shop, handle cash procedures, and ensure superior customer service. You will also engage customers with our multi-channel and digital journey, and help maintain high shop standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day to day running of the shop.
• Open and close the shop and manage the shop team in the absence of senior managers.
• Carry out cash handlings procedures and follow cash controls.
• Opportunity to manage on occasion and develop within the company.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment while undertaking on-the-job training to upskill.
• Deliver outstanding customer experience through a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable approach.
• Accept bets accurately via multiple channels including betting terminals and EPOS in-shop transactions.
• Act as Brand Ambassador and introduce customers to multi-channel/digital journey.
• Work under pressure and stay calm while seeking continuous improvement of the shop.
• Keep shop presentation standards high throughout the day.
• Ensure all safety, compliance and shop operation procedures are followed.
• Be a team player and contribute to social responsibility duties.
• Introduce customers to our in-shop and online products.
